Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan received NATO Deputy Secretary General Radmila Šekerinska on Thursday, discussing the development of Armenia–NATO partnership and cooperation.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Pashinyan underlined that Armenia attaches importance to cooperation with international partners, including NATO, in advancing the regional agenda of security and stability.
For her part, the NATO Deputy Secretary General highly appreciated the partnership with Armenia and thanked the Prime Minister for previously receiving ambassadors accredited to NATO, noting the constructive and productive nature of those discussions.
The interlocutors also referred to the Washington Declaration signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan on August 8, as well as the developments that followed. Views were exchanged on steps aimed at unblocking regional communications, with particular attention to the TRIPP initiative and the “Crossroads of Peace” project.
A number of other issues of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.
