Former Yerevan Mayor Seeks to Replace Pashinyan as Prime Minister

Former Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan has thrown his hat in the ring to become Armenia’s next prime minister. Marutyan, who served as mayor from 2018-2021, was selected as the candidate of the New Power party in the June 2026 parliamentary election.
